How to Choose a 15" Industrial Monitor
The right 15" industrial monitor depends on your installation method, controller interface, brightness requirement, touch operation, and mechanical protection needs. Panel mount models are commonly used for machine front panels and control cabinets, while open frame monitors are better suited for embedded equipment or custom enclosures.
For indoor industrial equipment, a standard 350-nit display is often sufficient. If the monitor will be used in a bright environment, a high-brightness option may improve visibility. PCAP touch is commonly selected for modern HMI operation, while reinforced cover glass or vandal-proof designs may be considered for kiosks or public-facing equipment.
Interface compatibility should also be confirmed early, especially for retrofit projects using existing controllers. If your specification is still being finalized, send us your application details and we can help check whether a standard model is suitable or whether small OEM adjustments are needed.
