Outdoor equipment needs more than a standard indoor monitor. Brightness, sealing, touch, cover glass, bonding and mounting should be matched to the actual installation.
High-brightness LCD options are available for outdoor-facing kiosks, EV chargers, payment terminals, industrial equipment and signage. Confirm sun exposure and the temperature inside the finished enclosure when selecting a model.
Front IP65 protection is available on specified models when the front assembly and sealing gasket are correctly installed. The equipment enclosure must still protect the rear housing, cables and connectors.
Projected capacitive touch can be matched to the selected cover glass and application. If wet-finger operation, gloves or impact protection are required, include these conditions in the sample specification.
AG can reduce reflected glare, AR can reduce surface reflection and AF can improve cleanability. The suitable treatment depends on the viewing conditions, maintenance requirements and equipment design.

No. The inch size describes the display diagonal. Models with the same screen size can have different glass outlines, fixing points, connector positions and rear depths. Use the installation drawing to confirm the opening and available clearance.
Portrait installation must be confirmed for the selected model. Mounting, LCD viewing characteristics, internal airflow and heat dissipation should be reviewed in the intended orientation before the sample is approved.
